Meet Your Psychiatric Provider
Taylor Welty, MSN, APRN, PMHNP
Taylor is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in adolescent psychiatry. Her passion for working with children and their families is what inspired her to establish Serenity Psychiatry & Wellness LLC. Taylor’s approach is patient and family centered, as a psychiatric nurse practitioner she creates treatment plans that are based on the individual needs and preferences of the patient and family. She does not believe in a “one size fits all” approach to psychiatry. Taylor enjoys offering an integrative psychiatry approach including psychiatric medications, Genomind genetic testing, lab testing for vitamin deficiencies, supplement recommendations, and lifestyle coaching on nutrition, exercise and sleep.

Taylor obtained her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Nova Southeastern University with specialized training in psychiatry. Her nursing career began in emergency department acute-care, before following her true passion for working with teens in the mental health field. During her years in the mental health field she has held various leadership positions for Family First Adolescent Services, a residential treatment center specializing in complex trauma treatment, and currently serves as their Director of Psychiatric & Health Services. Taylor is also a member of The American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
